Success Criteria for Human Rights Advertisement
Learning Goal: We will produce an advertisement for a human rights issue for a specific audience.
1) I have used pathos (uses clear emotion), logos (uses clear logical appeals), or ethos (the advertisement clearly establishes the credibility of the NGO through the appropriate use of expert testimonial) to persuade my target audience of my human rights goal. Please re-watch the video on persuasive techniques above to refresh your memory.
2) I have used the colour features necessary to make the ad appealing for the target audience.
3) I have used the appropriate size and style of font to make different features stand out.
4) I have developed a persuasive slogan.
5) I have used the appropriate images in the advertisement to persuade my audience of the importance of
my issue.
